The EUROPEAN ACCESSIBILTY ACT aims to make products and services more accessible

This law was announced in 2019 and will come into force from 2025.

in key areas such as telecommunications, banking, e-commerce and transportation
are accessible to all, regardless of their skills.

This law sets minimum accessibility requirements for a range of products and services,
including smartphones, ticket machines and ATMs.
The law also requires member states to ensure that government websites and mobile applications are accessible.

The European Accessibility Act is an important step towards a more inclusive society
and will help ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to the digital world.
